In the 2022-2023 school year, SES 4th and 5th grade 4-H project participation was a phenomenal 95%!! Almost every single student participated in the 4-H speech and 4-H demonstration contests we held in the classrooms.
Not only was the participation rate high, but the teacher support was outstanding! Yes, the students do the work to prepare their projects, but the teachers are the ones who are behind the scenes supporting the students in their journey to success in the classroom.
For these reasons, Smyrna Elementary is chosen as a 4-H School of the Year!
